A Gathering of Economy, Heritage, and Local Wines

On September 25, 2024, nearly 300 business leaders from Aude gathered at the Fontfroide Abbey for the second edition of the Networking Evening. Organized by the CCI of Aude in partnership with various business clubs, the event took place in a historic setting, perfect for professional exchanges.

Keynote Speech by Philippe Dessertine

The highlight of the evening was the keynote address by economist Philippe Dessertine, Director of the Institute of High Finance and expert in economic forecasts. His presentation, titled "Between Tensions and Opportunities: Toward a New Economic Model," captivated attendees, emphasizing the importance of innovation and ecological transition for local businesses.

Business Leaders and Networking

Key figures who initiated the event included Louis Madaulle, President of the CCI of Aude, Nicolas Cayrol and Stéphane Nondedeo, co-presidents of the CLAC, as well as Pascal Chavernac, President of the CCEC (Carcassonne Business Club), and Christophe Giry, President of the CCLA (Lauragais Aude Business Club). These leaders underscored the importance of networking and cross-sector collaboration to stimulate the local economy.

The evening concluded with a cocktail reception held in the abbey's cloister, organized by Cap Soleil Events. This convivial moment allowed participants to share experiences and strengthen their professional relationships.
